International Kick-off of an Implementation Network for Data Stewardship

On December 18-19, 2019 colleagues from Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, The Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, and the USA met for an official launch of the Data Stewardship Competency Centres (DSCC) IN in Leiden. The event was also a knowledge exchange oriented workshop for the IN community to start preparing a detailed work plan to further elaborate objectives and tasks defined by its manifesto. Valentina Pasquale and Diba Markus are the designated IN Coordinators. Next steps will be identified at the Annual IN Meeting in Hamburg on 23-24 January 2020. Several national chapters are evolving around this IN, such as for the Netherlands and Germany.
